So you will need a modded PS2 which can play burned games or HD Loader and the ISO installed on a hard drive with WinHIIP. Final Fantasy X-2: International + Last Mission is a RPG video game published by Square Enix released on for the Sony PlayStation 2. The custom ISO is still region-coded for NTSC-J since there is no such thing as a region-free PS2 game. I certainly feel more than justified in downloading this, after all, I actually do own both the original US release of FFX and the import version of FFX International, which costed me a lot of fucking money at Play-Asia a few years ago. So if you want to play FFX International with the original Japanese voice acting, and all the improvements of the International version, you know what you have to do. This version of FFX International can never be purchased, as it's a hacked together version of the game. The International release already includes English and Japanese subtitles and menus, so these people (apparently some enterprising Chinese pirates) simply switched the recorded voices in the original version of FFX International from English to Japanese by going through all the game files from a ripped ISO and replacing all the English speech with the original Japanese speech. That said, Tidus and Yuna had far better voices in Japanese than in English. The Japanese voices were quite a bit better, though Rikku's Japanese voice drove some people to commit mass murder. The original release of FFX International used the English voices, which I think we can all agree are not very good. This is of course the enhanced version of the game re-released in Japan with the additional bonus super-bosses, the Expert Sphere Grid, and the miscellaneous other tweaks and fixes that were added to the year-late European release of the game which were not present in the original Japanese and North American versions. In short, it is a modified version of Final Fantasy X International (JP version). But I'm sure if you don't really search very hard at all you can find it. With it's fresh story and unique system of battle, it by far, is one of the.

The other is still working on his own version.Unfortunately I can't link directly to it for obvious reasons. Final Fantasy X International (with Bonus DVD) Supports English voice, Japanese subtitles (game can be set to fully English mode) New boss game, new abilites, summon battlesThe newest in the series of Final Fantasy, it has thrown away alot of old traditions from its predecessors, though this time for the better. 1 member put out this patch, and cannot translate anymore due to lack of expertise. No one else would translate this game in the past 6 years, but 2 members on the game's gamefaqs board have done so. Big thanks to them for their efforts on this fun, forgotten game!!!Īlthough it does not translate Last Mission or new items/abilities, this is still a good thing. In Japan this had an extra DVD of bonus stuff, including a short chapter called 'FFX: Another Story' using the FFX engine and with the FFX characters. The other is still working on his own version. Final Fantasy X (PS2 - JP, NA) Final Fantasy X (AKA FFX International in JP) (PS2 - JP, EU) FFX International was only released in Japan and Europe.

The following link gives the semi-translation patch for the game isoĪlthough it does not translate Last Mission or new items/abilities, this is still a good thing. Point is, the game is now playable at least to those who do not understand Japanese. The item descriptions also had to be removed due to byte-size issues. All menus, garment grids, enemy/npc names, subtitles, and npc dialogue is still in Japanese. a partial translation of sorts was released yesterday for Final Fantasy X-2 International!! Although it is far from a complete patch - it only translates the items, accessories, abilities, auto-abilities, and enemy abilities into English. I have some very good news to anyone who still visits this thread.
